Effective Virtual Communications

Would you like to develop your confidence in your ability to communicate effectively online? This highly practical course introduces you to the skills needed for communicating in the virtual workplace. You will learn about chairing and participating in virtual meetings and teleconferences in addition to managing crisis communication with internal and external stakeholders. During the course you will discuss real-life experiences and take part in a variety of role plays and simulations to immediately put the skills you learn into practice.

Objectives After this workshop you should be able to:

  • Review strategies for leading virtual meetings more effectively·
  • Identify participatory techniques for playing an active role in virtual meetings
  • Discover a communicative approach for making teleconferences smoother and more productive
  • Recognise strategies for engaging with external stakeholders in times of crisis
  • Recognise strategies for engaging with internal stakeholders in times of crisis

Benefits After this workshop you should be able to:

  • Participants will be better able to communicate effectively in the virtual workplace
  • Clients and colleagues will have more trust as information is clearly communicated
  • The organisation will have team members who are skilled at managing communication through multiple approaches and technique.

This course will be delivered online over five sessions, you will need to complete all modules to complete the course.

Cost to Members: $60 for the whole sessions
